Dr. Ali Gorgi

Dr. Ali Gorgi has practiced veterinary neurology and neurosurgery in Southern California for more than 10 years.

He takes a progressive, integrative, and compassionate approach to care, with extensive experience in advanced neurosurgical treatment.

Experience & Leadership

At CASE Animal Hospital, Dr. Gorgi serves as CEO and Medical Director. Throughout his career, he has helped build and expand neurology departments at specialty veterinary hospitals in West Los Angeles and Orange County.

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Gorgi has a particular interest in advanced surgical procedures involving the brain and spine.

During his residency research, he developed a novel surgical technique for treating congenital vertebral anomalies in dogs.

He is also one of the few veterinarians in California certified to perform cervical disc arthroplasty (artificial disc replacement) in dogs.

In addition to common procedures such as IVDD surgery, Dr. Gorgi has routinely treated complex neurosurgical conditions including:

– Chiari Malformation

– Atlantoaxial Luxation

– Wobbler Syndrome

– Brain and Spinal Tumors

Personal Interests

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Gorgi enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their Golden Retriever.
